This has been the year of the icicles. After five storms in a row with massive amounts of snowfall this year, Mother Nature treated us to a wonderful ice show!
My original intent was to go to different places and do a really nice composition of icicles in different formations. Best laid plans... didn't happen. By the time the weekend came when I had daylight hours to take some pics, the temperatures were nearing 40 and everything was starting to melt. So, hurry, hurry...
This is what I have. The first picture is the building across from me, so you can get a sense of scale. The rest of the pics are the door to my apartment building (#8) and my balcony.
